Riverdance ScrapbookI put this Riverdance Scrapbook together after a group of us attended the magnificent performance. All the photos and journaling text used were from the program purchased during the performance. These Riverdance Scrapbook Layouts were going into a scrapbook Album that was 12 x 15 inches tall. There are no fancy background papers available in that size to I had to piece some papers and add additional strips of cardstock. Also, I did find some of the larger papers at Dick Blick Art Materials at:

"Out of the dark we came out of the Sea where the long wave broke on the shore, as the day broke and the night rolled back, there we stood in the land we would call home." 
"The sun brings life and light and fire, the opening dance sequence celebrates this benevolent masculine power. The sun is the light of morning, exuberant and clear." 
A lone piper mourns Cú Chulainn, the implacable Bronze Age warrior, the great hero of Celtic myth. 
In ancient Ireland fire and pride and beauty come out of the south, from the land of the sun. The power of the sun invests itself in the passion of the dancer.
