Mount Rushmore Scrapbook
Part of the Summer 2010 Road trip includes the Mount Rushmore Scrapbook Layouts.
These first two Mount Rushmore Scrapbook Layouts feature a Title Die Cut purchased from
Scrap Your Trip.com
which is placed on the top of both pages. This is a very elaborate Die Cut and is similar to ones I purchase for Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Teton National Park.
The background paper on the left came from a Scrapbook Kit purchased at the Gift Shop, and was one of 4 papers in the kit along with a set of 9 layered stickers. The background paper on the right came from my stash of Bazzil Basics on Brown, with an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of patterned rock paper.
On the left under the Mount Rushmore Title is one of the Layered stickers showing a photo of the making of the Memorial.
The Photos are from a set of Post cards also purchased from the Gift Shop.

This next set of Mount Rushmore Scrapbook Layouts uses background paper, tags, mattes, ribbon and most embellishments from the Club Scrap.com July 2010 Kit called Destinations. This kit was amazing and featured patterned papers with a number of different travel destinations, including the Memorial at Mount Rushmore.
The photos were from Post Cards purchased at the Gift Shop area.
The left page uses two Photo Post Cards of individual carvings of President Lincoln and President Washington. The jounaling from the back of the post cards is handwritten on the tags, tucked behind each photo. The metallic framed embellishment says "Wherever you are, be." The small journaling tag says "I'll Never Forget." The large journaling tag is handwritten in blue a quotation from Lincoln Borglum about his father Gutzon Borglum's carvings of the mountain.
The right page uses on one Photo Post Card, and from the Scrapbook Kit, a layered oval showing a photo of the Memorial, a square sticker and a sepia likeness of an old postcard. Mixed with the kit items are items from the Club Scrap Destinations Kit - a Lavender Photo Matte, Olive Ribbon, the "Destination: relaxation" die cut and another Metal Framed embellishment "Whatever you are, be" and a smaller journaling tag "You can fall in love at first sight with a place as well as a person."
